Happy Money is a fintech company based in Irvine, California.
With an holistic spatial concept of ‘the canvas’, the branded installation, curated art, and wayfinding system is intended to inject playfulness and peppy personality to the light and airy workspace.
Working off the recently updated brand package developed by New York-based creative studio Mythology, I was tasked to translate and reinterpret Happy Money’s brand iconography, typography and color palette into three-dimensional space, including bespoke installations, murals, as well as a flag based navigation system that’s atypical to conventional workplace navigation, complementing Happy Money’s youthful and refreshed attitude towards the tired financial category.
The scope also includes curating an art program for the 70,000 square feet space spanning across two floors; with a focus on local history, California attitude, as well as illustrated art that compliments the brand’s crisp, vibrant color scheme.
